About Valve Monitoring

During calibration, the controller records the normal milliamp (mA) draw for each zone. On every future run it measures live current and compares it to that baseline. A drop below 30 mA flags a dead or disconnected valve, while a spike above 400 mA signals a possible short.

Ecosystem Fit

Valve Monitoring can be activated on any Rachio Smart Sprinkler Controller. Purchase here or in the app for $29.99. (Comes free with Pro Series controllers.)
