So glad I got this!
Very happy with this choice after researching the various options out there. Also bought the Tempest weather station to utilize hyper local weather data. The system has already skipped water sessions due to wind, freezing temperatures, and rain above the set threshold, exactly as intended!

We are very satisfied with the operation of our new Rachio 3 sprinkler controller. It works as advertised and is saving water by not operating during high rain periods. It’s just recently been installed so we’ll have the full summer to test it and we believe it will work as promised.

Love the Valves
We put down about 6 pallets of zoysia and did not want to spend $$$ on a 4 zoned irrigation system. This solved our problem perfectly. I have two timers that operate two sprinkler heads that come on twice a day for 30 minutes. Prior to that would have to manually turn on and off, schedule around that, etc. now I have the app and the timer is set so I don’t have to remember anything. Plus the app can easily skip a session if rain is predicted. Works perfectly.

Great product
Easy to set up and track. Rachio sopped a couple of watering cycles automatically because of anticipated rain or the soil being saturated and we have only had it a couple of weeks. Will definitely pay for itself with saved watering expense.

Works
I ordered the bundle, which included two valves and a hub. However, the hub was defective, and it took some effort, with the help of customer service, to identify the issue. They were quick to ship a replacement, and it works great. I have two gardens, approximately 500 yards apart, and these devices have saved us from having to walk to the well, turn on the water, and manually adjust the valves. I'm pleased.

Works just like it’s supposed to
I needed a new valve so I thought. So I bought one through the customer support tab. It was offered to me at a reduced price but not because I’ve been a return customer or a product tester. It’s reduced because Rachio is a customer service first based company. Between me and the co founder (I was chatting with him in the Rachio community blog) we were able to narrow down the issues was having and remedied he whole problem with a new hub. But it all started from seeking the help menu and purchasing a new valve. .

Problems solved
I rarely review items anymore but when asked to review Rachio timers, I happily agreed. I have four hoses watering different areas of my back lawn. I tried other traditional timers but they were bulky and primitive. It was hard or impossible to set them. However, Rachio’s app based units, which are small and offer a good profile against the house, are convenient because they are accessible by phone from anywhere, organized the schedule formats, easily adaptable to weather, and quickly modifiable to water on off days without disrupting the set schedules. These things have saved me a ton of time fighting with the old systems. I recommend Rachio to my neighbors and others.

Great add on control
I have a 16 zone rachio controller, but I have one particular spot of grass in a shady area that I wanted to control separately. I didn’t want to buy a whole new valve just for the little area so I decided to try this add-on hose valve. I attached a Rainbird hose pressure regulator to it and it works exactly as I wanted it to. I added micro sprinklers to a drip hose connected to this valve and it’s great. I’m able to time this separately from the rest of my system and it works without a hitch. Very happy with my purchase.

Great product!
This hose timer is excellent. I was looking for a way to keep my pool filled properly and a way that would help me do it both in person and remotely, especially during times of evaporation and us traveling as a family. This has done the trick. You won't go wrong with this product!

Very neat. We have been experiencing heavy winds in recent times. The Rachio 3 notified me of the wind problem altered my plan to get maximum benefit for my bamboo in the yard. Rachio 3 is a great product.
