My smart hose timer
It’s the best!! I use it for suppling motion sensor sprinklers that keep the deer away at night when they are active and I can easily shut it off if we are going out or coming home or if company is coming over I think it’s awesome

So far so good
I finally broke down and got one after installing few on customers systems. I love the fact that I have access to my customers systems to turn on the system when I do a lawn application. I will definitely try to sell more of these to customers!

So easy to install and use
I purchased these valves just a couple of months ago and modified my existing irrigation system to accommodate a 4-way split valve drip system. They incorporated nicely into the Rachio app in just a couple of steps. Now, I can set up multiple zones for different types of vegetables, trees, and herbs. It's a good way to split up zones for specific purposes. I even have one valve ready to feed into a greenhouse. Highly recommended!

Star of the Garden
Rachio Smart Hose Timer is awesome! Since they added the ability to use more than 1 valve at a time it is now the garden star. I use 1 valve as a primary valve at the house and run a 200ft hose to the garden where I have 3 "zone" valves. That way I do not have to run 3 hoses to the garden and I don't need to leave the primary 200ft hose under pressure when it is not in use. I never have a problem with wireless range and they always work on time.

So far so good
In the week it’s been operating, it seems to be functioning as it should. I confess I'm not getting up before dawn to check! Once I figured out how to set the days and run times, the set-up was easy. And I like sharing it with my tree whisperer so he can adjust scheduling if I'm not there.

Easy set up
Once attached to irrigation I followed instructions included and on app. Fully understood how to answer questions for my property except for type of sprinkler head. I had to educate myself. First time irrigation user. Awesome Rachio!!! 100% recommend

I am updating you on the purchase. I purchased this Rachio for my daughter’s home to replace a RainBird unit. I purchased my in 2016 and love it. I will install hers in a few days. As a good dad would do, I remotely control her unit. At some point I will turn it over to her to manage. The WiFi is super. 🙏🏻

Conversion to Rachio 3 Controller
The system was easy to hook up and program. The app is intuitive to use and the controller already making good decisions to skip water cycles based on local weather. I would recommend to everyone.

Great system
I upgraded to the Rachio and I wish I had done it sooner. They are very easy to install and manage on my phone. I highly recommend the Rachio system. You can set it up to skip when it has rained or if it is too windy. It monitors the weather and soil moisture content and adjusts the watering as needed.

Great controller!
I upgraded to this from an orbit that was total garbage! So garbage that they suppressed my negative reviews! I love your controller so far and it does everything I need. I run city water and irrigation ditch water so the extra inputs are helpful as is the pump/valve output.

A pleasure to use
I have a large ranch with dozens of watering zones. I now have four controllers and plan to order more. It’s a pleasure to be able to coordinate and monitor remotely. I use one zone to control filling my irrigation tank from my well. Really a time saver! I highly recommend these!

Great for Garden Beds
We have a number of raised garden beds each with a water faucet. The Smart Hose Timers enable us to automatically water the beds with consistent frequency and duration. Watering is never forgotten and no need to have help when we are away.

Rachio hose timers
I couldn’t be more pleased with these hose timers. Before moving, we had the 12 valve Rachio system for our yard. However after moving into a new build 55+ community, I was concerned how to water a small garden area we developed. Soaker hoses were the answer but who wanted one of those Home Depot timers? By chance I looked up the top of the art Rachio timers, only to learn they also had hose timers, with the SAME state of the art systems that not only turned the water on and off via remote control but also automatically turned off the system when there was rain in the forecast. It works like a charm and I can set it and forget it! LOVE IT!

Works great. Saves water and money.
The auto adjustment and weather notices saves wasting water, which saves money. Who has the time to go and adjust a manual legacy system every day. Rachio just takes care of it. Want to add an extra run, or extend the time - so easy.

Best ever!!!
Had a Rachio controller in my last home. Moved and the new place had a different brand that I had to spend extra to make it WiFi capable. Connectivity was hit and miss and the App was less than user friendly. Bought a new Rachio, updated the App, and I'll never look back. LOVE. . . LOVE. . . LOVE this controller.

Great for Raised Beds
I bought the 2 valve kit for our raised beds. The app clearly walks you thru Wi-Fi setup initial scheduling. Notifications work well. The only glitch is that one of the valves keeps giving false "no flow detected" alarms. Online forums indicate it's a frequent bug, so I disabled that feature in the app. Otherwise we are very happy so far.

From Hunter to Rachio
Used my Hunter X-core for one year and couldn't wait to purchase and install the Rachio controller. What a huge upgrade. Installed in less than 15 minutes. I love the app also. Rachio is so easy to use. Highly recommend this controller.
