It's bitterly cold in much of the country as I write this, but spring is just a few weeks away. Now is the time to start planning your outdoor projects! Here are
Have raised garden beds that need irrigation?
Connect a Rachio Smart Hose Timer with a Water Right Hose and a DIG Drip Kit! You can set up watering schedules in the Rachio App and trust that your plants are getting the water they need, provided by a non-toxic hose and efficient drip irrigation system. No need for an in-ground irrigation system!
Upgrade your sprinkler nozzles
Replace your traditional spray nozzles with K-Rain Fully Adjustable Rotary Nozzles. It’s easy to unscrew your existing spray head and retrofit it with a more efficient K-Rain nozzle. Then you can update your zone settings to make sure your grass is getting enough water. (The K-Rain nozzles spray in streams that provide more uniform coverage at a lower water pressure. This means your watering times may increase but you’ll be using less water!)
Maybe your sprinkler heads are too low? You can use a Kap-It Riser to make sure your sprinkler heads are above the height of your grass and all the water you're using to water is working for you. Stack up to three risers for up to 4.5 inches of additional height.
Establishing new plants
Are you thinking about putting in new plants this spring? Make sure they’re getting water right where they need it: at the roots. Root Quencher watering devices get water to plants underground so none of it is lost to evaporation. From new trees, shrubs or garden beds, Root Quencher has a solution for your yard.
